Advice for Hunters:
Image for Advice for Hunters 1. Monitor the clinical state of the procured birds and if you detect the characteristic features of the disease (such as weakness, lack of fear of people, shaky walk), pack the prey in a plastic bag and pass it to a Veterinary Inspection Service representative.

2. Follow safety precautions when cutting up the prey, don’t disjoint birds without wearing rubber gloves; if you have cuts and scratches on your hands, don’t let any blood drops get on open areas of your skin, as well as on your eyes and mouth. Inedible bowls, fluff and feathers should be burnt.

3. Sale and barter of wild waterfowl and upland fowl meat are forbidden.
