Advice for People:
|
1. Poultry products must be purchased only at stationary retail outlets and on food markets and only if the packaging includes consumer information on the label (manufacturer name, product name, manufacture date, storage terms and conditions, and reference to the appropriate normative and technical documentation).
2. Purchasing of poultry products without labels, in places of unregulated (unauthorized) trade is prohibited.
3. At home poultry products must undergo thorough thermal treatment (boiling, deep frying, and stewing).
4. A young chicken must be boiled for at least half an hour, and an older chicken—for an hour. Eggs must be boiled hard. When disjointing the chicken, use rubber gloves and a separate carving board, avoid touching your nose at that moment, putting your fingers into your mouth, and when you are done disjointing the chicken—wash your hands and the carving board thoroughly with hot water and soap.
5. Defrosting the product in a microwave is a good way not to get sick because all the viruses will be destroyed.
